University for Continuing Education Krems (Danube University Krems, Dr.-Karl-Dorrek-Street 30, 3500 Krems, Tel.: 02732 893-0, E-Mail: datenschutz@donau-uni.ac.at – data protection officer: MMaga Katharina Ranjan) is controller and responsible for the processing of the personal (person-based) data by the websites: latfure.eu, za.latfure.eu and mz.latfure.eu:

  1. Server logs

Server logs store the IP address of you as the site visitor along with data on the time and history of page requests, the amount of data transferred, whether the retrieval was successful, the identification of the browser data and operating system used, as well as the website from which it was accessed (in case it was accessed via a link) .This data as well as error log files is collected for system security verification and for access statistics by our processor, World4You Internet Services GmbH (Domain & Service Provider), in our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Abs 1 lit f GDPR and § 96 Abs 3 Austrian Telecommunications Act. These log files are saved for two weeks and are then automatically deleted.

  1. Matomo

The website uses Matamo, involves the collection of usage information including your IP address – which is immediately anonymized – via cookies for 180 days to conduct a statistical analysis of website usage. The basic functionalities of WordPress require certain cookies to check if a user is logged in or to track uploads of files to the Wordpress media library. Cookies are also set as security plugins.

  1. Registration to the online platform (forum)

If you register for the online platform (forum) with your e-mail address and password, you consent to the processing of this data as well as any further personal data that you may provide or share via the forum. You can revoke this consent, at any time, by emailing to magdalena.fellner@donau-uni.ac.at.

Your personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

  1. Access to the restricted area (Moodle)

If you register via the restricted area for Moodle, you consent to the processing of the personal data that you have provided. You can revoke this consent, at any time, by emailing to magdalena.fellner@donau-uni.ac.at.

The Moodle platform is restricted to project partners within the LaTFURE project to enable interactions and the further development of deliverables.

The technical functionality of Moodle is guaranteed by the following cookies:

MoodleSession, to maintain your access rights, until the respective logout/browser close Moodle ID Storage, login user name for automatic entry, unlimited until deactivation by user.

Danube university’s system administrator log access to the Moodle platform due to system security and maintenance of the network infrastructure. In terms of designing your personal profile, you make all further entries voluntarily and therefore you can change and delete them at any time.

Your personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

  1. General contact

If you, independently of this, contact us additionally via email, telephone or personally, your personal data will be processed for the purpose of the request and follow-up questions, which is in our legitimate interest or our legal task in accordance with Art. 6 Abs 1 lit f or e GDPR namely to inform the public about the fulfillment of the tasks of the university. This data is stored for a maximum of 7 years.

  1. Links (Facebook et al.)

The website is linked with Danube University Krems’ info site on the social media network “Facebook”. Regarding the processing of your personal data you can find out more about the scope and purpose of data collection, how the data is used by Facebook as an independent controller,your rights and how to activate the relevant settings to protect your privacy under: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

The website also contains links to other websites. These links to the websites of other internet participants are offered as a service for users looking for further information. Danube University Krems has no influence over the content of the linked pages and cannot accept liability for this content in any way. The providers of the linked websites are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of the information provided.
